Bizvo is built local-first. That's not a marketing line — it changes what a privacy policy even needs to say.
Your invoices, estimates, clients, and business details are stored on your own phone or computer. There's no Bizvo account, no login, and no copy of your invoice history on a server we run. We can't read your invoices, because we never have them.
If you turn on automatic backup, your data goes to your own Google Drive or Dropbox account, using the narrowest access those services allow (Bizvo can only see the files it creates — not the rest of your Drive or Dropbox). One honest caveat: backup files are stored in your cloud account unencrypted today. They're protected by your Google or Dropbox login, but if you share that account, the backup is readable. Client-side encryption is on our roadmap.
If you buy the $49 unlock, Stripe processes the payment and we keep a minimal purchase record — your email address and a payment reference — so we can restore your purchase on a new device and help you if something goes wrong. That's the extent of it. We never see or store card numbers; Stripe handles all payment details on both sides (your purchase, and your clients paying your invoices).
Your client pays through Stripe's checkout. Bizvo's servers pass along only what's needed to create that payment (amount, invoice number, your connected Stripe account) and store none of it. Stripe is the system of record for every charge.

We don't sell data. We don't run ads. We don't track you across the web. Our business model is the reason you can believe that: we make money when you buy the app once and when a 1.5% service fee applies to invoices paid online — not from your data.
